Sheldon Old Home Days 2016
After meticulous planning by a group of dedicated volunteers, the Sheldon Historical Society executed a magnificent Sheldon Old Home Days celebration on July 16, 2016. Local individuals, organizations, and businesses marched along a mile of parade route displaying antique cars and tractors, historically significant floats, bands, and marching units.The crowd of over 500 adjourned to the Sheldon Woods festivities arena to enjoy a chicken barbeque, live entertainment, displays of historical interest, and to enjoy community fellowship. All present enjoyed the day.Our thanks go out to countless individuals whose dedication fostered this important community event

The Burlington Free Press featured the Sheldon Historical Society in print and on the web.
