Located on a hill top on the north side of Vermont Route 105, two tomb stones make what is known as the Hammond Cemetery.

 

 

 

 

This  stone bear the name of “Hammond” with a date of death June 24 1846 at the age of 68 years.

 

 

 

 

 

This newer stone bears the name of “Nathaniel Stearns”  with a date of death July 29, 1831at the age of 44.

 

 

 

 

 

At least one additional store lies face down and was not disturbed.  Other’s may be found but we did not disturb the area.
