Thoughts From a Walk Introduction by Terry Lovelette: “I grew up in the small northwestern Vermont mill town called Sheldon Springs. It was a great place to live. We had room to roam in the woods and the freedom to do so. With a close group of friends, we explored the cow paths and native trails in the surrounding woodlands, climbing rocky hills, swimming in local watering holes, hiking through the woods, and sleeping under the stars. It’s the place where I developed a connection, a bond of loyalty was established along with a deep appreciation for the forest settings and mountainous terrain that exists right here in my own backyard.”
